Amyloidosis Australia is an organization founded and totally run by volunteers. Listed below are some of the areas in which we very much need volunteers to help: Fundraising Translation of documents into other languages Development of new Support Groups in areas which we are not now represented, and help with existing groups (ie. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide) Political Advocacy Support (do you know any Australian/NZ Politicans?) Publicity and Media Relations (Is your local paper journalist interested in your story?)

We rely on donations to help us with our work in raising awareness about Amyloidosis at conferences, as well as running support group meetings, and producing pamphlets & CD's about Amyloidosis. Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated! We are DGR endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office, so you can claim any amount over $2 donated to us back from your Australian Tax return. On receipt of your donation we will forward you an official receipt within 30 days. We do accept international donations, but your donation will not be tax deductible. You can donate to us through PayPal or through a direct bank transfer. We also accept cheques. Use the donations box on the left to donate to us via your credit card on PayPal.
